- A "ground connection" between the monitor and CD32 is essential
- as the signal return path, but this should be part of the cable!
- Are any wires broken?
- Are the syncs also connected?
- What terminations are there? Perhaps there are small value
- coupling capacitors in lines not expecting to see 75ohm loads
- at the monitor?
-
- I am surprised you say the screen is blurry on composite video,
- I use a 21" SONY TV with CD32 on direct PAL video to SCART
- (NOT RF) with excellent results, and have also tried the SVHS
- route which was slightly better still, but a borrowed lead :^)
- I agree that RGB should be much better, but it does not seem
- that way from CD32 (I tried a nasty fiddle direct from CD32
- motherboard to the SCART which may have made things worse
- since it was not properly buffered)
